Exploring Our Classic Wine Collection

Lamborghini Wine Classic Collection

Step into the realm of timeless craftsmanship and profound passion as we proudly present our Classic Collection.

Each bottle encapsulates the essence of the Lake Trasimeno region in Umbria, where our vineyards bask in the gentle embrace of Mount Era, inspiring the very spirit of our wines. From the inaugural ERA UMBRIA IGT, Sangiovese to the rebellious TORAMI UMBRIA IGT, our Classic Collection is a symphony of flavors, blending tradition with innovation. Let's embark on a journey through the distinct personalities that define our wines.

ERA UMBRIA IGT: Embracing the Essence of Lake Trasimeno's Sangiovese

ERA Umbria IGT represents our inaugural interpretation of the most prevalent grape variety in the Lake Trasimeno area. Introduced with the 2007 vintage, it draws inspiration from Mount Era, whose graceful silhouette overlooks our vineyards. In Greek mythology, Hera, the goddess of marriage and fertility, lends her name to this wine. Grown at a high density of approximately 5,500 plants per hectare, with yields capped at 1.5 kg per plant, ERA undergoes a meticulous production process. A fifteen-day maceration with the skins is followed by a five-month maturation in tonneaux, complemented by a subsequent six months in the bottle. Exhibiting a ruby red hue with garnet undertones, ERA delights the senses with aromas of dried leaves, humus, red berries, and nutmeg. Its palate offers a savory character, firm tannins, and a lingering finish. Ideal with red meat and cheese, ERA encapsulates the charm of Sangiovese from Umbria.

CAMPOLEONE IGT UMBRIA: Epitomizing the Essence of Our Estate

Campoleone IGT Umbria Rosso stands as the quintessential representation of our winery. Comprising 50% Sangiovese and 50% Merlot, this wine is crafted in the Lake Trasimeno area, with some vineyards dating back to the 1970s. Plantings boast a density of 5,500 vines per hectare, ensuring a yield of no more than 1 kg per plant. The eighteen-day maceration with skins precedes a twelve-month maturation in French oak barriques after malolactic fermentation. Sangiovese and Merlot are blended just before bottling, allowing for a minimum of six months of bottle maturation. A red wine designed for extended aging, Campoleone exhibits a deep ruby red color and a broad bouquet with notes of cassis, plums, violet, tobacco, leather, and a subtle balsamic undertone. Ripe tannins and a persistent finish make it a splendid companion for roasted red meat, game, spicy cheeses, and chocolate.

TORAMI UMBRIA IGT: The Bold and Independent Spirit

Torami IGT Umbria Rosso, introduced in 2003, embodies a rebellious and individualistic spirit. Born from a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon in the Lake Trasimeno area, Torami undergoes a twenty-day maceration with skins, followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel barrels. The wine matures for ten months in French oak barriques and undergoes a six-month refinement in the bottle. Its intense ruby red color leads to a generous bouquet featuring hints of blackberry jam, eucalyptus, and liquorice. Balanced tannins and a long finish make it an excellent companion for game, particularly wild boar.

68´ UMBRIA ROSSO IGT: A Symphony of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon

Originating from the Lake Trasimeno region in Umbria, the 68´ Umbria Rosso IGT is a harmonious blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Trained in a spurred cordon formation with a planting density of 5,000 plants per hectare, this wine ages for four months in tonneaux and an additional four months in bottles. With an aging potential of 3-5 years, it boasts an intense ruby red color, a flavor profile characterized by red berry fruit with light spice, and a clean taste that defines the palate.

TRESCONE UMBRIA IGT: A Dance of Tradition and Flavor

Trescone Rosso Umbria IGT pays homage to a traditional dance performed during the harvest. As our youngest wine, it combines Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon in the Lake Trasimeno area. After a fifteen-day maceration, the wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel barrels, followed by four months of maturation in 50 hl Slavonian oak casks. A wine with a balanced body and great drinkability, Trescone reveals spicy aromas with notes of red jam, liquorice, and chocolate. Ideal with pasta, risotto, roast meat, freshwater fish, and cheese, it represents a vibrant and flavorful addition to our collection.

As we uncork the bottles of our Classic Collection, we invite you to savor the rich tapestry of flavors woven into each drop—a testament to our commitment to crafting wines that stand the test of time. Cheers to the classics!
