In the early days, several varieties of both red and white grapes were planted: in addition to the classic SANGIOVESE and CILIEGIOLO, it was also decided to go for more unusual varieties for those years, such as MERLOT and CABERNET SOUVIGNON.
The Tenuta has always worked in the pursuit of quality, seeking to enhance the characteristics of the terroir and, thanks also to Riccardo Cotarella's invaluable oenological management for more than 20 years, the wines have reached a very high level of quality.
