Trescone
Umbria IGT
It owes its name to a traditional dance.
IGT Umbria Rosso Trescone owes its name to a traditional dance that used to be performed during the harvest.
It is our youngest wine, made from Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, is produced in Umbria, in the Lake Trasimeno area.
Harvesting takes place between September and October depending on the variety, after which maceration takes place, in contact with the skins, for a duration of fifteen days.
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel barrels, after which the wine goes into 50 hl Slavonian oak casks for four months.
A wine with a balanced body and great drinkability.
The aromas are spicy, with notes of red jam, liquorice and chocolate.
On the palate it has good concentration and harmonious tannin.
It goes well with pasta, risotto, roast white and red meat, freshwater fish and cheese.
